Part of the information for this periodic table comes from the
element "dictionary database" of Jay Kominek <jhominek@xtn.net>.
Information present for each element is:
- Atomic Number.
- Atomic Mass (Expected Error in Last Digit).
- Oxidation State(s). More common oxidation states are
bold.
- Boiling Point (K). Temperature at which vapour pressure
equals external temperature.
- Melting Point (K). For elements which sublimate before they
boil (at 1 atmosphere), the external pressure must be raised
to find a boiling point.
[ Some molecules decompose before they melt, even at elevated
pressure. ]
- Density. Grams per cubic centimeter for condensed states,
grams per litre at 298 K for gases.
- Electron Configuration.
- Stable isotopes and their abundances.
