Can We Play Now?

 

It was pointed out to me, that after all that introduction, 2 chapters worth, you actually might want to login to your computer.

If the Linux computer you have in front of you was set up by someone else, you may actually have a login ID and password given to you by someone who is a systems administrator. But, if you installed Linux yourself, the only login ID and password you have at this point is that of the superuser, known as root.
